BC Jean is a hot, up-and-coming, 21-year-old female singer songwriter from San Diego. BC Jean’s mother/manager, Lori Carlson, told me she couldn’t comment on the situation. But plenty of people knew the saga of Beyonce’s legendary manager/father Mathew Knowles’ aggressive pursuit of the publishing rights to the potential hit record. His goal was to get the rights to the song and to put Beyonce’s name on the writing credits.

Hairdresser turns robber into sex slave

A hairdresser from the small Russian town of Meshchovsk has subdued a man who tried to rob her shop, and then raped him for three days in the utility room, Life.ru reports.
The incident occurred on Saturday, March 14. The working day was coming to an end at a small hairdressers, when a man armed with a gun rushed in and demanded the day’s earnings.
The frightened employees and customers agreed to fulfill his demand, but when the shop’s owner, 28-year-old Olga, was handing the money to the robber, she suddenly knocked him down on the floor and then tied him up with a hairdryer cord. The 32-year-old Viktor couldn’t have known that the woman was a yellow belt in karate.

Olga locked the unlucky robber in the utility room and told her colleagues that she was going to call the police – but didn’t do so. When everybody left home, she approached the man and ordered him to ‘take of his underpants’ threatening to hand him over to the police if he refuses to cooperate.

After that Olga raped her hostage for three long days. She chained Viktor to the radiator with pink furry handcuffs and fed him Viagra.
She eventually let the man go on Monday, March 16, saying: “Get out of my sight!”
Viktor went straight to hospital as his genitals were injured, and then to the police.
Olga was resentful when she was taken by the police.
“What a bastard,” the woman said about Viktor. “Yes, we had sex a couple of times. But I’ve bought him new jeans, gave him food and even gave him 1.000 roubles (around $ 30) when he left.”
After that she wrote a notice to the police claiming the man tried to rob her shop.
Both Olga and Viktor may now face prison terms. The woman could be convicted of rape, while the man of robbery.

A Russian woman claims to be both the world's oldest person and the oldest-ever mother. Her passport shows that she’s 125, and she says she last gave birth a mere 46 years ago, at the tender age of 79.

If true, she has beaten the previous record holder by almost a decade. Some critics, however, have thrown doubts on her story, suggesting her documents possibly don’t offer the whole truth.

Possible – in theory

Ulya Margusheva is an ethnic Kabardin from the Russian republic of Kabardino-Balkaria in the North Caucasus. Long-lifer Ulya says she doesn’t eat anything sweet or salty and that she hates bananas.
Her story becomes all the more fascinating with the revelation that the woman gave birth to her only child when she was 79.
“I explain it by the fact that she lives in an ecologically-safe environment. She's a healthy woman herself,” said Maria Tembotova, the republic's chief obstetrician.
“And despite the fact she got married in her late she had a healthy lifestyle. So it is possible in theory”.

Journalists investigate

So far a Japanese woman lays claim to the record as the oldest mother to give birth. If Ulya really is the true world record holder, why is she enjoying so little publicity?
Local journalist Anatoly Tanashev doubted the legend and joined RT to investigate.
It turns out that Ulya doesn’t remember anyone except Stalin and Lenin. A photo of Tsar Nicolas II doesn’t ring a bell, nor do photos of President Medvedev, or of the republic’s biggest celebrity – Eurovision Song Contest 2008 winner Dima Bilan. At the same time, she’s quite handy with her mobile phone.
Two documents, her passport and her child’s birth certificate, make it quite clear: Ulya was born in 1884 and her child was born 79 years later. Ulya explains:
“Yes, I gave birth to my child naturally. No caesarean section. A nurse at the hospital told me when I was checking out with a child: ‘Oh! What a poor woman!’”
Anatoly Tanashev was still skeptical. Stories of the ‘Old Ma’ didn’t seem to have impressed him:
“I think there's a mistake with the age, because if she says she went to school when the Young Communist League went to cavalry camps and she was 10-14 at the time, then there are holes in her story.”

Handwritten errors

Nurmukhamed, the tallest man in the republic, believes the story is true

One problem is that before WWI all archives in Russia were handwritten, especially in rural areas. To find out more, RT dug into the ancient paperwork.
Ulya’s date of birth varies from document to document. A register book says that Ulya Margusheva was born in 1891 which is seven years later than what is written in her passport.
The local administration has never doubted Ulya’s longevity. Neither have some of the other exceptional people in the region. “Why not?” says Nurmukhamed Kambiyev, the tallest man in Kabardino-Balkaria.
“She was only 79, right? It is quite possible. I studied gynecology, the gynecology of animals. I drew some parallels.”
Nurmukhamed, at well over two meters, is the tallest man in the republic. Looking at the giant it is little wonder that the people believe the local mineral waters produce miracles.

Unmarried adults in Arizona who decide to fool around a little are committing a serious felony. Anyone single, man or woman, caught having sex can be sent to the penitentiary for three full years.
South Dakota threatens a 10-year prison term for "copulation by means of mouth."
Utah has made this same act a misdemeanor. There, oral sex brings a six-month jail term and a $299 fine.

A man can be incarcerated for from one-to-10 years in an Arizona or Washington, DC, prison for causing his wife to be a prostitute.
A man can also get 10 years in Arkansas and 20 years in Maine and Michigan for placing "his spouse in a brothel." In Missouri, it's a "high misdemeanor" for a fellow to "force" his wife to sell sexual services on the streets.
Don't import an Asian woman and make her a prostitute in California. If you're caught, you could get a year in prison and a $500 fine.
Buckfield, Maine, has a rather unusual law regarding cab drivers and sex. A Maryland governmental fund created to assist "innocent" victims of violent crime has paid out nearly $1.8 million since 2003 to injured (or deceased) "drug dealers, violent offenders and other criminals," according to an investigation by the Baltimore Sun published in March. Burial expenses were awarded for a carjacker, a victim of an inter-gang killing and a sex offender who was fatally beaten in prison. The Maryland courts have ruled that as long as the applicant was not engaged in a crime at the time he was injured, he must be considered for an award.

A convicted pedophile cleared yesterday of loitering near choirboys at St Andrew's Cathedral later said he condoned adults engaging in sexual activity with children of any age.
After the magistrate Pat O'Shane dismissed a charge of loitering against Geoffrey Leonard, 71, of Hornsby, he said outside the court that laws against men having sex with young boys were wrong.
"I believe that very, very strongly; that violence should be the only grounds for the intervention of criminal law into personal relations."
Asked if that included adults having sex with boys as young as eight, for example, he replied: "I'd prefer not to have an age at law ... not a specific age. I don't draw the line anywhere ... I take a Freudian view of psycho-sexual development."
Mr Leonard, a barrister, faced a maximum penalty of two years jail or a fine of $11,000. He represented himself at the Downing Centre Local Court in a one-day hearing yesterday.
Convicted in 1990 of sexual intercourse with two minors, he was accused of taking pictures with his mobile phone of choirboys last August, approaching a 12-year-old boy and asking his name and turning up at choir engagements uninvited. , the court heard yesterday. Convicted pedophiles are prohibited from loitering near schools or places frequented by children.
Mr Leonard voluntarily disclosed his conviction to the church.
After he allegedly sent a book he wrote called Sex and Gender in 2001 to a 16-year-old choirboy in 2001, he was told not to have any unsupervised contact with children, but was allowed to keep attending the church.
But following four more recent complaints from parents of choirboys, the Anglican Dean of Sydney, Phillip Jensen, wrote to Mr Leonard last September banning him, the court was told.
The letter was presented to Mr Leonard as he turned up for a morning service on September 8 and, when he did not leave, police were called and he was arrested.
He now attends Christ Church St Laurence church in George Street.
Mr Leonard, who has publicly accused Mr Jensen of homophobia in the past, denied all the allegations. "It's all a conspiracy by the heirarchy of the church to get rid of me," he told the court.
None of the civilian prosecution witnesses - Mr Jensen, the St Andrew's administrator, Kay Terrey, the school's chairman and minister, Stuart Robinson, and a minister, Chris Moroney - said they had witnessed any inappropriate behaviour by Mr Leonard.
However, none of the parents who made complaints were called as witnesses.
The only photos found on Mr Leonard's camera phone were of his dog, the court heard.
Ms O'Shane said "the element of idleness or aimlessness" could not be proven simply because he was a sex offender and did not leave church immediately after the service.
Philip Gerber, the director of the Anglican Church Diocese of Sydney Professional Standards Unit, said outside court that Mr Leonard would still be banned from St Andrew's.

now i stumbled across this site and at first i did not see the big deal...until i read on. here is a bit of what is written.......

Dave had spent two and a half years in pre-med at Queens University in Kingston, and using contacts made both there and online he and his twin brother have changed themselves in ways far beyond anything anyone else has ever attempted.some friends of mine were just setting up a new studio -- Dave and I had been doing piercings on our friends for about a year, and it just seemed like the right thing at the right time so I decided to become a piercer. At this point the piercing community was pretty young and it was an "anything goes" scene and still mostly underground -- I got to meet a lot of guys into amputation and castration and really heavy stuff. It got me thinking a lot about what we wanted to do with our own bodies. I introduced Dave to them as well and he shared my feelings.

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) - A New Zealand man has been accused of assault with prickly weapon - a hedgehog. Police allege that William Singalargh picked up the hedgehog and threw it several yards to hit a 15-year-old boy in the North Island east coast town of Whakatane on Feb. 9.

"It hit the victim in the leg, causing a large, red welt and several puncture marks," police Senior Sgt. Bruce Jenkins said Monday. The teen did not need medical treatment, he added.. The Herald on Sunday newspaper reported that it was not known whether the hedgehog was dead or alive at the time of the attack, but that it was dead when collected as evidence.

Jenkins said Singalargh, 27, was arrested shortly after the incident on a charge of assault with a weapon. He is expected to appear in court again on April 17.

His lawyer, Rebecca Plunket, said Singalargh intends to plead innocent. The maximum penalty for the charge is five years in prison.

While using a hedgehog as a weapon in an assault is uncommon, Jenkins said, "People often get charged with assault for throwing things at other people."

week's episode exceeds "quirky," leading some viewers to contact Colorado authorities to report what they

believe to be child neglect.

Kate Martinez, the martial artist and former zookeeper from Colorado, shocked viewers last week with her

assertions that training animals and training humans is pretty much one and the same. Martinez made no

apologies that her step-son, 10-year old Alex, was left to fend for himself much of the time: waking

himself up and sending himself off to school in the mornings, cooking his own dinner four nights out of the

week, working at the family's martial arts school, and spending many evenings alone while mom and dad have

"couple time." Yet, at the same time, Martinez seemed to lavish attention on her pet cockatoo, Maki.

One outraged viewer claimed in a blog post, "Alex, in my opinion, is definitely being neglected...The family

is more concerned - dramatically so - about [Maki's] welfare than Alex's." Sources tell Reality TV Magazine

that the blogger later reported Martinez's behavior to Colorado authorities.

Comments on the blog post (and others) show that many viewers support this view that Alex is being abused,

and rumor has it more viewers have contacted authorities as well.

Former The A-Team star Mr. T once stunned a sick child's family by bringing him out of a coma - after doctors begged the actor for help.

The poorly kid fell unconscious in Detroit, Michigan in the mid-1980s - and the only physical movement he made was in response to hearing Mr. T's name.

And when the mohawked star was in town, he stopped by the hospital to visit the ill boy - with miraculous results.

He tells Empire magazine, "His family put toys around him and one of them was a Mr. T doll. And whenever my name came up, the boy moved his arm.

"Somebody told the doctors I was in town, so they called me down there. I closed the curtains and prayed. Then, as I was walking down the hall, the kid suddenly came out of the coma and hollered out.

"That was my supernatural moment."

A German woman who was mistakenly raised as a boy won a lawsuit against the surgeon who turned her into a man as a teenager.

The 48-year-old plaintiff, who suffered from a condition called congenital adrenal hyperplasia, sued the surgeon for removing the uterus and ovaries that were first found inside her body during an appendix operation in 1976.

Because her enlarged clitoris was mistaken for a penis, the woman, who developed facial hair during puberty, was thought to be a boy, said the court today in the western city of Cologne.

On being told that she was "60 per cent female" after the appendix operation, the teenager became suicidal, prompting her family to seek medical advice, the court added.

Doctors found no concrete evidence of male genitalia inside the patient's body, and an analysis of her chromosomes revealed her to be female, though she was not informed of this.

The surgeon decided to remove the woman's internal female organs, and she later underwent further operations and hormone treatment to complete her transformation into a man.

The woman, who later became a nurse, learnt only in 2006 which organs had been removed and that the gender of her chromosomes had deliberately been kept secret, the court noted.

In its verdict, the court found the surgeon had not given his patient enough information about the "nature, substance and scope" of the operation carried out in August 1977.

The plaintiff, who has abandoned her male name, was seeking damages of at least 100,000 euro (A163,600) from the surgeon.

The court has yet to decide what damages to award.

Some have OBEs when they have narrowly escaped death

UK researchers are asking for your help to find out exactly what is behind out-of-body experiences (OBEs).

Psychologists at Manchester University have set up an online survey that they hope about 3,000 people will fill out.

By comparing the responses of those who have and have not had an OBE they aim to discover the overarching cause.

One theory is that it is down to how people perceive their own body - those unhappy or less in touch with their body are more likely to have an OBE.

Floating sensation

About one in 10 people claim to have had an OBE at some time, typically involving a sensation of floating and seeing the physical body from outside.

For some, the phenomenon occurred spontaneously, while for others it was linked to dangerous circumstances, a near-death experience, a dream-like state or use of alcohol or drugs.

Despite this, relatively little is known about OBE.

Dr David Wilde and his team plan to find out more by studying the experiences of a large number of people.

He said there were several theories as to why people have OBEs.

Common thread

"There were early theories which looked at whether something actually physically left the body, like consciousness, but there's no real scientific evidence for that.

They all start from a feeling of a loss of input from the body

"Other theories over the years have looked at whether OBE is a psychological defence mechanism in response to a perceived threat to the body in some way.

"Others have wondered whether it is a visual hallucination.

"But what has connected all the theories is the fact that they all start from a feeling of a loss of input from the body - a loss of conductive information coming from the legs, the arms, the trunk and so on.

"Our theory follows on from that."

His team believes that people experience their body in different ways and that this could explain why some people experience OBEs while others do not.

"We are finding that people with OBEs tend to experience their body differently to others.

"They tend to have increased social anxiety, to be uncomfortable about their body being scrutinised by others and dissatisfied with their bodies, and they tend to get immersed and absorbed in things very easily."

He said that by studying more people over the coming months he will be able to check whether his theory is correct.

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (March 27) - An upstate New York man embroiled in a dispute over his water bill is not being allowed to pay off his debt with a check written on toilet paper. Ron Borgna tried to settle his $2,509.66 bill with a check written on floral print, two-ply toilet paper Wednesday.

The disagreement began in September 2006 when received a $422.90 water bill. Borgna claims he was overbilled. With additional charges, penalties and late fees that bill has grown.

Binghamton city officials refused to accept the check. After a short argument, Borgna was escorted out of the building.

Borgna says he is appealing the judgment against him in small claims court.

Dogs have nothing over Bartholomew County, Indiana Sheriff's Deputy Jimmy Green. Green was investigating the robbery of a local pizza delivery person when he decided to follow his nose - right to the criminals.

The robbery occurred when a man placed a pizza delivery order and then robbed the delivery person when she arrived at the bogus address given with the order. Police combed the area seeking eye witnesses to the crime. They went door to door asking neighbors if they had seen or heard anything. Nobody had but a keen sense of smell provided a clue.

Deputy Green went up to one neighbor's house and noticed the scent of pepperoni and sausage pizza. Upon further inspection he saw yellow pages open to the pizza delivery section. Officers followed Green's nose and found a couple pies as well as the cash stolen in the robbery!

The moral of this true crime saga is, if you want to rob a pizza delivery person, don't arrange for a delivery in your own neighborhood. But, if you do, at least have the intelligence to go out for Chinese afterwards.

Political Dogs is reporting that dolphins were stranded off Massachusetts while trying to enter the United States apparently to obtain medical services covered under the state's universal healthcare system. The dolphins, many of them with serious medical conditions, several pregnant, were stranded near Cape Cod in what appears to have been an immigration akin to Cuban boat people. While humans have no evidence of dictators running amok within the dolphin world, it is clear that these dolphins needed significant medical attention and that they chose Massachusetts as their entry point to this country for a reason. Massachusetts only recently enacted universal healthcare. So it stands to reason these dolphins were coming here for that purpose.

Daniel Thompson, 31, was so upset by the sex, profanity and violence in movies today that he opened a video store in Orem, Utah, offering major Hollywood films but with the objectionable parts manually removed. Hollywood studios got a court order shutting down the store in December because of copyright infringement, and in January, Thompson was arrested after police said he paid two 14-year-old girls for sex. Miss Fayetteville (N.C.) 2007 Jenna Walters is scheduled in court in April to answer for her November arrest in which police said she had veered recklessly through traffic in Southern Pines, N.C., in order to harass driver Angela Thomas. She pulled in front of Thomas, blocked her path, then got out, screaming and taunting the woman, but then quit and drove off, only to return moments later from the other direction, bump Thomas' car and resume screaming, then left but returned yet again, bumped Thomas' car from behind and yelled some more. In the 2006 Miss Fayetteville pageant, Walters was voted Miss Congeniality. [Fayetteville Observer, 2-2-08]

Almost half of the 47 members of the United Nations' Human Rights Council are not "free democracies" (according to Freedom House rankings), and several, such as China, Cuba, Russia and Saudi Arabia, have been widely criticized as human rights violators. Consequently, the council has failed to address any of the most prominent rights abuses around the world (including some that were called genocide) in Sudan, North Korea, Chad, Zimbabwe and Iran, among other places, but in January, the council voted its 12th "condemnation" of Israel (out of only 13 condemnations it has ever issued). Almost all blog platforms by default are set up so that a “dead end” piece of code is inserted wherever there is a link in a comment, so that search engines will not “count” the link as they are crawling the internet. This was originally designed to help stop comment spam, but it doesn’t work. What it does is remove some of the incentive for your readers contribute to your site by commenting on your posts.

What can you do about it? Turn off “nofollow”. Show your commenters that you appreciate them. Spread the link love.

How? Depending on the blog platform you’re on, you can install a plugin (like this one for WordPress), or disable it (see this post if you’re a Moveable Type user), or modify your template (check this site for Blogger tips).

Turning off the “nofollow” on blog comments has become a sort of “movement”
